Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was born at Blenheim Palace, the seat of his grandfather the 7th Duke of Marlborough, on 30 November 1874.

His father, Lord Randolph, was a prominent Conservative politican and his mother the daughter of a New York financier. Young Winston saw neither of them as often as he would have liked. At 13 he scraped into the lowest class at Harrow. Randolph, believing that his son was academically unsuited for politics or law, had him placed in the army class.

Subject pronouns replace the subject of the sentence.

Object pronouns replace the object of the sentence.

Example: I love history books.
I always read them.


There is an object pronoun for each subject pronoun. Look at the following table:
